My love for the arts originated from the many nights I sat on Grandma’s lap mesmerised by the colours and movements of the operatic characters on stage. Later, I would draw costumes and headdresses inspired by Teochew opera

Homage 1 to 3 is a tribute to the artistry and vitality of Chinese opera...and to Grandma Lucy who opened my eyes and coloured my world.
